Wiener Stuhl Bentwood Armchair with Cane Seat and Back by GTV

The Wiener Stuhl Bentwood Armchair with Cane Seat and Back by Gebrüder Thonet Vienna is an enduring example of Viennese furniture design, originally conceived by Gebrüder Thonet in 1904. Its elegant silhouette captures the simplicity and craftsmanship that made bentwood furniture a lasting design classic. Steam-bent beechwood forms the chair's graceful curves, with a gently rounded backrest and sweeping arms that create an inviting, open profile. In this version, traditional woven cane fills both the seat and the backrest, adding natural texture and visual lightness to the sturdy wooden frame. The contrast between the finely woven cane and the fluid lines of the wood gives the chair a timeless character that feels equally at home in classic and contemporary interiors. Ideal for dining rooms, stylish cafés, and refined hospitality settings, the Wiener Stuhl combines distinctive design with everyday versatility. Available in natural beechwood, stained finishes, and lacquered colors, it celebrates the rich heritage of Gebrüder Thonet Vienna.
