Bauhaus2yourhouse.com reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, remove or edit content, or cancel orders at their sole discretion.

Sales Tax

Bauhaus2yourhouse.com is charges no sales tax on any orders shipped within the United States, except California. You are expected to comply with your state's current laws regarding purchases over the Internet.

Lead Time

Ready to Ship products are shipped within 7 business days of acknowledgment of order from Bauhaus 2 Your House Customer Service. Factory Direct orders are custom orders built specifically for our customers by our factory. Lead time for Factory Direct orders is typically 10-12 weeks. While Bauhaus 2 Your House makes every effort to meet these lead times, they are not guaranteed. Bauhaus 2 Your House is not responsible for delays in shipments due to circumstances beyond our control, such as acts of God, international port delays and closures, terrorism, or other customs, freight, or shipping delays. Every effort is made to meet our estimated shipping dates, but failure to do so does not justify their cancellation.

Warranties

Bauhaus 2 Your House reserves the right, at its sole discretion to change, modify, add or remove any portion of these terms and conditions of use, in whole, or in part at any time. Designs, materials, construction, production technology and specifications are subject to change without notice. Bauhaus 2 Your House reserves the right to modify and/or improve all products that we offer for sale.

Bauhaus 2 Your House warrants its products to be free from defects in material or workmanship, given normal use and care, for a period of 1 Year from the date as indicated on the invoice, subject to the limitations set forth:

During this warranty period, Bauhaus 2 Your House will, at its option, repair or replace, free of charge to the original owner, any part or assembly found to be defective. This warranty is not transferable and terminates when a third party becomes entitled to use the product during the warranty period. Claims must be in writing. All claims must include the name, address, and telephone number of the purchase, unit model number, general description of the product, description of the defect(s), photographs, and documentation supporting the date of initial delivery. Bauhaus 2 Your House will contact the customer to arrange for the repair or replacement of the defective product covered by this warranty at Bauhaus 2 Your House's expense.

This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from accidents, alterations to the product other than by Bauhaus 2 Your House or an authorized person, installation by other than a Bauhaus 2 Your House or an authorized person, or the product not being used in accordance with Bauhaus 2 Your House's installation and/or application guidelines. Upon the occurrence of any one or more of these events, this warranty becomes void. Because of the natural variation over which Bauhaus 2 Your House has no control, the warranty does not extend to color, grain, texture of wood, plastic, marble, or fabric. Bauhaus 2 Your House does not warrant the matching of color, grain or texture and shall not be liable for consequential or incidental damages. The images on this website represent an approximate rendering of the item requested and is not a representation of warranty regarding the final product.

Cancellation Policy

Orders not canceled within 24 hours of acknowledgment from Customer Service will be subject to a 25% - 50% cancellation fee in addition to any shipping charges incurred. A cancellation will not be accepted without our approval, on any order, once it is in production. Cancellations will not be accepted without our approval on any Factory Direct orders once they are in production. Factory Direct purchases are ordered with every effort exerted to meet our estimated shipping dates, but failure to do so does not justify their cancellation. Factory Direct -- products made to order -- are not returnable.All canceled orders will be subject to a minimum 10% charge.

Receipt of Goods

YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR RECEIVING YOUR GOODS IN A TIMELY MANNER. The goods shall become the property of the Purchaser at the time It arrives at your front door. If delivery is prevented by difficult access, incorrect Information, or if the Purchaser wrongfully fails to arrange to receive the delivery as per the arrangements with the Delivery Service, the Purchaser is still responsible for the goods. ANY DAMAGE OR COSTS INCURRED FOLLOWING DELIVERY OR ATTEMPTED DELIVERY SHALL BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PURCHASER. FAILURE TO ACKNOWLEDGE OR RECEIVE GOODS IN A TIMELY MANNER IS NOT THE RESPONSIBILITY OF BAUHAUS TO YOUR HOUSE.

You will be issued an email at the time of shipping from the delivery service with tracking information; we are not responsible for filtered content. Items returned to the Bauhaus 2 Your House warehouse after repeated attempted delivery (services make at least three delivery attempts and leave notice) are the property of the purchaser, and will be re-shipped at the purchaser's expense. Damaged product will not be repaired or replaced unless the shipping error is determined to be the fault of Bauhaus 2 Your House (i.e. order shipped to wrong state). An order canceled at this point will be assessed a 50% restocking fee plus the cost of the original delivery.

Damage Return Policy

Claims for defective or damaged items must be filed with us within 3 days of delivery, in writing, with images. Please inspect your items immediately upon delivery. All shipments are picked up by the transportation company and signed for in good condition. (Bauhaus 2 Your House's liability ceases at that time). When you receive product from our freight carriers, it is extremely important to inspect the carton/crate for any damage or even an indication of the possibility of damage before signing any documentation. You will be asked to sign a delivery receipt, which is essentially a legal contract that indicates you are receiving the product in perfect condition. All delivery receipts contain a box to note any "visible" damage on the carton/crate. This is your insurance that you will have the ability to be awarded the freight claim; without notation of damage (or the indication thereof) there is no recourse. If damage is noted, you must keep product in original shipping box or container for inspection by carrier. Enter a claim with the transportation company. Receiving Glass and Marble

While our glass and marble pieces are shipped using industry standards and best practices, they are vulnerable materials, and even under the best conditions, damages sometimes occur. IT IS THEREFORE CRITICAL THAT YOU BE AWARE AND ADVISED OF HOW TO RECEIVE THESE PIECES. Damage to glass and marble pieces MUST be noted at the time of delivery. These items arrive crated, you will need to carefully inspect them while they are intact, or de-crate them for proper inspection. FAILURE TO INSPECT ITEMS AT TIME OF DELIVERY, OR SIGNING FOR DAMAGED PRODUCT "IN GOOD CONDITION" MAY MAKE YOUR DAMAGE CLAIM OR CREDIT CARD REBUTTLE IMPOSSIBLE.

Satisfaction Guarantee / Refund Policy

Bauhaus 2 Your House proudly stands behind our designer reproductions by offering our customers our Satisfaction Guarantee Policy. If any Bauhaus 2 Your House customer is not fully satisfied with any of our products, simply contact is in writing for authorization and return the product to our warehouse within 10 business days from delivery. Refunds for Ready 2 Ship (In-stock) products will be issued store credit or exchange only less the 30% Restocking Fee, shipping, and a $25 re-packaging charge, if merchandise is returned at buyers expense in its original condition and in original packaging within 10 days. Credits (other than store credits) will be refunded via check.

Factory Direct (non-stock items or custom orders) are not returnable. Returns must be pre-authorized by calling (888) 272-5331. Actual cost of shipping item to you will not be credited or refunded. Store credit is valid for one year from date of issue. Thereafter, unused credit is forfeited. Claims must be in writing. Claims for defective or damaged items must be filed within 3 days of delivery. Please inspect your items immediately upon delivery. Claims received after 3 days of delivery will not and cannot be processed.

Please be aware that fine furniture is highly susceptible to damage during transit. We take great care to pack shipments so that they will arrive safely, so be sure to retain the original packing materials, original receipt and all merchandise tags for any item that you wish to return to us. You may have to provide supplementary packing materials if the outer carton has been worn during the original trip out to you. Upon arrival of returned goods at the warehouses items will be examined for merchantability. In the event that goods are deemed to have been damaged by the customer, the customer may be charged up to the full price of the item(s).

A $25 repackaging fee may also be assessed if packaging is unusable. (Shipping is not refundable.) IMPORTANT: CUSTOMER MUST RETURN ALL PRODUCTS IN THE EXACT CONDITION, AND IN THE EXACT PACKING MATERIALS IT WAS RECEIVED IN AT THE CUSTOMERS EXPENSE IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR REFUND. BAUHAUS 2 YOUR HOUSE RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE OR REJECT ANY RETURN THAT DOES NOT MEET THE CONDITIONS DESCRIBED ABOVE.

Bauhaus2YourHouse.com will attempt to ship all merchandise within five business days of purchase unless otherwise specified. Delivery estimates are good faith estimates only. Bauhaus2YourHouse.com will not be liable for any loss, damage, cost or expense related to any delay in shipment or delivery.

Residential Curbside Delivery:
Unless otherwise specified, Bauhaus 2 Your House will quote all product shipment for residential [curbside only] delivery to you when possible. If necessary, when residential is unavailable, Dock-to-Dock delivery can be set up in which the product is delivered to loading bays designed for trailers to back up level to warehouse floor, which requires no special equipment to load/unload. Bauhaus 2 Your House will pass on all information on the location and the local contact to the buyer when we acknowledge your order. Buyer will need to make all local arrangements for pick up of their products. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ARRANGE TO MEET THE SHIPPER AT THE DELIVERY ADDRESS AT THE APPROPRIATE TIME. PLEASE NOTE YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE A CALL FROM THE SHIPPER ADVISING OR REMINDING YOU OF THE DELIVERY TIME. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO TRACK THE SHIPMENT USING THE TRACKING NUMBERS THAT WE PROVIDE TO YOU.

Bauhaus 2 Your House is happy to work with customer's specific needs for delivery and can accommodate White Glove service (where available) and Inside Delivery at an additional charge. White Glove/Inside Delivery:
Furniture is big, apartments can be small. We note the dimensions of our product on the website and on your confirmation. We are not responsible for items that do not fit into your home. If items do not fit, they will be delivered curbside or "first dry area."

Storage

Items may be stored, with a request by the customer in writing, for 15 days after receipt in our warehouse. After two weeks, there is a storage fee of $25 per item, per month (assessed on the first of the month). Items unclaimed after 90 days become the property of Bauhaus 2 Your House, and customer forfeits any payment(s) made.

Changes to Terms and Conditions and To Site

Bauhaus 2 Your House reserves the right to modify or change the terms of use of this site with or without notification.

User Warranties

In placing an order, you warrant that you are over 18 years of age, and that you are providing accurate, true, and complete information, and that you have the authority to place the order.

Disclaimer of Warranties

In the event that the delivery company is prevented from carrying out Its obligations as a result of any cause beyond its control such as but not limited to Acts of God, War, Strikes, lock-outs, Flood and Failure of third parties to deliver goods, Bauhaus 2 Your House and the delivery company shall be relieved of its obligations and liabilities for as long as such fulfillment is prevented. Bauhaus2YourHouse is at no time providing any warranty or any type of guarantee that any particular item/model of product or accessory is suitable or usable for any particular purpose, whether general or specific, whatsoever.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Bauhaus 2 Your House.com and its officers, directors, employees and suppliers, from any claim, demand, action or damage, including reasonable attorneys' fees, made or incurred by any third party arising out of or related to your use of this site.

Termination

Bauhaus 2 Your House reserves the right to terminate your account and restrict your use of this site if we have reason to believe you have violated any of these terms and conditions, including providing us with false information.

International Customers

This Site is controlled, operated and administered by Bauhaus 2 Your House from its offices within the United States of America. Bauhaus 2 Your House makes no representation that materials on the Site are appropriate or available for use at other locations outside of the United States and access to them from territories where their contents are illegal is prohibited. Your Account

Bauhaus 2 Your House reserves the right to refuse service, cancel an order, or restrict or terminate an account where reasonably necessary, including in cases of suspected fraud, misuse of the website, pricing or product information errors, or violation of these Terms and Conditions.

Sales Tax

Bauhaus 2 Your House pays applicable sales tax on eligible orders shipped within the United States. Customers who purchase products through the Shop mobile application or another third-party sales channel may be assessed sales tax at checkout. Please call us for further information.

Lead Times

Ready-to-Ship in-stock products generally ship within five business days after order acknowledgment by Bauhaus 2 Your House Customer Service. Products ordered from a manufacturer or produced specifically to fulfill a customer’s order are considered Design-to-Order products. These pieces are obtained especially for you and may include selections of finish, material, color, size, or other available options. Design-to-Order products typically ship within 12–16 weeks after order acknowledgment, unless a different estimated lead time is stated on the product page or provided at the time of order.

We make every effort to meet estimated shipping and delivery dates; however, these dates are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Bauhaus 2 Your House is not responsible for delays caused by manufacturers, freight carriers, customs, port conditions, severe weather, labor disruptions, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control. A delay in production, shipment, or delivery does not constitute grounds for cancellation of a Design-to-Order product.

Product Details Variations

We make every effort to accurately describe and depict the products offered on our website. Because many of our pieces are produced by independent manufacturers, designs, materials, finishes, construction methods, and specifications may be modified or improved from time to time without notice.

Product dimensions are based on overall measurements at the widest points of each piece and are intended to help you understand its approximate footprint. If a particular measurement, finish, material, or other detail is important to your purchase, please contact us before placing your order, and we will be happy to provide additional information.

Natural materials, including wood, marble, stone, cane, leather, and fabric, may vary in color, grain, veining, texture, and other characteristics. These natural variations are part of the beauty and character of the material and are not considered defects.

Images on our website are intended to represent the products as accurately as possible. However, actual colors, finishes, textures, and materials may vary slightly from what appears on your screen due to monitor settings, lighting, photography, and natural material variation.

Limited Warranty

Bauhaus 2 Your House warrants that its products will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use and care for a period of one year from the date of delivery to the original purchaser.

During the warranty period, Bauhaus 2 Your House will, at its option, repair or replace any product or component determined to be defective under this warranty. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is not transferable.

Warranty claims must be submitted in writing and include the purchaser’s name, order or invoice number, product information, a description of the claimed defect, photographs showing the issue, and documentation of the delivery date. We may request additional information reasonably necessary to evaluate the claim.

This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from normal wear and tear, improper care, misuse, accidents, alterations, unauthorized repairs, improper assembly or installation, commercial use, outdoor use of products not specifically designed for outdoor use, or failure to follow applicable care or use instructions.

Except as required by applicable law, Bauhaus 2 Your House is not responsible for incidental or consequential damages arising from a product defect.

Cancellation Policy

Orders may be canceled without charge within 24 hours after order acknowledgment by Bauhaus 2 Your House Customer Service, provided the order has not shipped or entered production.

After the 24-hour cancellation period, cancellation of a Ready-to-Ship in-stock item is subject to our approval and may incur a cancellation fee of up to 10% of the purchase price, plus any shipping or handling costs already incurred.

Because Design-to-Order products are ordered or produced specifically to fulfill a customer’s order, they may not be canceled after the 24-hour cancellation period without our prior written approval. If an approved cancellation is possible, it may be subject to a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the purchase price, plus any shipping, handling, manufacturer, or other costs already incurred.

Design-to-Order products may not be canceled solely because of a delay in production, shipment, or delivery.

Delivery Receipt of Goods

Customers are responsible for receiving their orders promptly at the delivery address provided. Please ensure that all delivery information is accurate and that someone is available to accept delivery when required by the carrier.

Delivery may be delayed or additional charges may apply if access is difficult, delivery information is incorrect, the customer is unavailable to receive the order, or the carrier is unable to complete delivery for reasons outside our control. Any redelivery, return shipping, storage, or related charges resulting from a missed or refused delivery will be the customer’s responsibility.

Tracking or delivery information will be sent to the email address provided with the order when available. Customers are responsible for monitoring delivery communications and tracking information, including messages that may be filtered into spam or junk folders.

If an order is returned to Bauhaus 2 Your House after unsuccessful delivery attempts, the customer remains responsible for the order and for any additional shipping, handling, or storage charges required to arrange redelivery.

Claims for missing items or incomplete shipments must be submitted in writing within five days of delivery. Claims for visible or concealed damage are governed by the Damage in Transit section below.

Damage Return Policy

Please inspect your order promptly upon delivery. If the packaging shows visible damage, please note the damage on the carrier’s delivery receipt before signing and take photographs of the packaging and the product. If damage is severe, you may refuse delivery and contact Bauhaus 2 Your House immediately.

Claims for items damaged in transit must be submitted to Bauhaus 2 Your House in writing within three days of delivery and must include photographs of the product, all packaging, and any visible damage. Please retain the product and all original packaging materials until the claim has been resolved, as the carrier may require inspection.

We will work with you and the carrier to evaluate a properly reported damage claim and, where appropriate, arrange repair, replacement, or another reasonable resolution. Damage claims may be denied if the product or packaging is discarded, altered, installed, used, or otherwise made unavailable for inspection before the claim is resolved.

Damage that occurs after delivery, including damage caused by moving, unpacking, assembly, installation, misuse, or improper care, is not considered damage in transit and is not covered under this policy.

Glass, Marble Stone Delivery

Glass, marble, and stone products require special care at delivery because concealed damage may not be apparent from the outside of the packaging. These items must be inspected at the time of delivery, before the carrier leaves whenever reasonably possible.

If the packaging is damaged, or if the product is cracked, chipped, broken, or otherwise damaged, please note the damage on the carrier’s delivery receipt, take photographs of the product and packaging, and contact Bauhaus 2 Your House immediately. If the damage is severe, you may refuse delivery.

Please do not sign for a visibly damaged glass, marble, or stone product as being received in good condition. Failure to inspect the product at delivery or to note visible damage on the delivery receipt may limit our ability to process a damage claim or provide a remedy.

Returns Exchanges

We want you to be pleased with your purchase. Eligible Ready-to-Ship in-stock items may be returned for store credit or exchange if you contact Bauhaus 2 Your House in writing within 10 business days of delivery and receive return authorization before shipping the item back to us.

Approved returns must be unused, unassembled, and in like-new condition, with all original packaging, tags, parts, and materials included. The customer is responsible for return shipping and insurance. The original cost of shipping the item to the customer is not refundable or creditable. Approved returns are subject to a 20% restocking fee and a $25 repackaging charge.

Because Design-to-Order products are ordered or produced specifically for the customer, they are final sale and are not eligible for return or exchange. Products delivered or installed through our White Glove service are also final sale once delivery or installation has been completed.

Returned items will be inspected upon arrival. We reserve the right to refuse a return or reduce the credit issued if an item is returned damaged, used, assembled, altered, incomplete, improperly packaged, or otherwise not in like-new condition.

Store credit is valid for one year from the date of issue. Any monetary refund authorized by Bauhaus 2 Your House will be issued by check.

Any merchandise returned to or held at our warehouse and not claimed by the customer within three months after notice from Bauhaus 2 Your House may be liquidated or otherwise disposed of. The customer remains responsible for any applicable return shipping, storage, handling, or disposal costs, and forfeits any right to a credit, exchange, or refund for the unclaimed merchandise.

Claims relating to defective products or damage in transit are governed by the Limited Warranty and Damage in Transit sections above.

White Glove Delivery Installation

White Glove Delivery includes special handling services that may include in-home delivery, unpacking, assembly, placement, and installation. Because these services are performed specifically for the customer and the product is prepared for the customer’s space, products delivered or installed through our White Glove service are final sale and may not be returned or exchanged once delivery or installation has been completed.

This final-sale policy does not apply to a properly reported claim for damage in transit or a defect covered under our Limited Warranty.

Shipping and Delivery

Free shipping is available on eligible orders delivered within the contiguous United States. Orders shipped to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, remote locations, or international destinations may require additional shipping charges. Please contact Bauhaus 2 Your House Customer Service before placing an order for delivery outside the contiguous United States or to a location that may require special delivery arrangements.

Unless otherwise stated, standard residential delivery is curbside delivery. Curbside delivery does not include inside delivery, unpacking, assembly, installation, removal of packaging, or movement of merchandise into the home or building.

Commercial and Dock-to-Dock Delivery may be arranged for businesses, receiving warehouses, design firms, contractors, or other locations equipped with an appropriate loading dock. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the delivery location can receive the shipment and for arranging any unloading, movement, storage, or final delivery required after the shipment arrives at the receiving location.

Inside Delivery and White Glove Delivery may be available in certain areas for an additional charge. Please contact Bauhaus 2 Your House Customer Service to confirm availability and pricing before placing your order.

Furniture can be large, heavy, and difficult to move through doors, hallways, stairways, elevators, and other spaces. Customers are responsible for confirming before placing an order that purchased items will fit through all access points and into the intended location. Bauhaus 2 Your House is not responsible for items that do not fit into a customer’s home, building, elevator, stairway, doorway, or intended space. If an item cannot be delivered to the intended location, delivery may be completed curbside or to the first dry and accessible area, and any additional delivery, return, storage, or handling charges will be the customer’s responsibility.

Customers are responsible for monitoring, tracking, and delivery communications, and for making themselves available for delivery or responding to scheduling requests from the carrier. Redelivery charges, storage fees, return shipping charges, or other costs resulting from a missed appointment, refused delivery, inaccessible delivery location, incorrect delivery information, or failure to respond to carrier communications are the customer’s responsibility.

Delivery estimates are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. Bauhaus 2 Your House is not responsible for delays caused by carriers, weather, port conditions, customs, labor disruptions, difficult access, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Storage

Upon written request and subject to availability, Bauhaus 2 Your House may store purchased merchandise for up to 15 days after it is available for delivery or receipt at our warehouse at no additional charge.

If merchandise remains in storage beyond 15 days, storage fees will apply at the rate of $35 per loose package or $135 per pallet, per month or any portion of a month. Storage fees will be assessed beginning on the 16th day of storage and monthly thereafter until the merchandise is shipped, delivered, picked up, or otherwise disposed of in accordance with this policy.

Merchandise left unclaimed for more than 90 days after it is available for delivery or receipt at our warehouse may, after notice to the customer, be liquidated or otherwise disposed of by Bauhaus 2 Your House. In that event, the customer forfeits any right to delivery, refund, store credit, or exchange and remains responsible for any unpaid storage, handling, shipping, or disposal costs.

Changes to Terms and Conditions and To the Site

Bauhaus 2 Your House may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. Any changes will be effective when posted on our website and will apply to orders placed after the updated terms are posted.

We also reserve the right to update, correct, or discontinue website content, product descriptions, images, specifications, pricing, availability, promotions, and services at any time without prior notice. In the event of an error affecting an order, we will contact the customer promptly to provide available options, which may include correcting the order or canceling it and issuing a refund.

Your Information Authority to Purchase

By placing an order with Bauhaus 2 Your House, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age or are placing the order with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian. You also represent that the information provided in connection with your order, including your billing, shipping, and contact information, is accurate and complete, and that you are authorized to place the order and use the selected payment method.

Website Use Disclaimer
