Spin Chair by BBB

The Spin Chair by BBB was designed by the Cuban born designer Rene Barba.  Barba has lived and worked in France since 1990.  In his designs, he has experimented with a wide range of materials.  Several of his pieces are on display at the Musé des Arts décoratifs. He has also worked as an interior decorator for Ligne Roset and for Calvin Klein.

In this fun and whimsical piece, Barba experiments with ABS in the shape of a top, and upholstery to create a concave seat.  The result is an armchair that can rotate in any direction.  With its bold silhouette and interactive design, the Spin armchair serves as both a functional seating solution and a conversation piece, making it a perfect addition to modern living spaces, lounges, or creative environments.
