The Ptolomeo® Art Vertical Bookcase by Bruno Rainaldi is a bold evolution of the iconic Ptolomeo design, crafted to accommodate large-format books, art volumes, and magazines. This XL version retains the minimalist, freestanding silhouette of the original but features wider shelves and a sturdier base to support heavier, oversized publications. As with its predecessor, the structure is designed to disappear when filled, creating the illusion of a floating column of books—a sculptural tribute to both literature and visual art.
Ptolomeo Art® is available in various finishes, including matte black or glossy white, corten-effect lacquer, and polished stainless steel, allowing it to integrate seamlessly into diverse interiors. The base is engraved with Rainaldi’s signature, underscoring its status as a functional artwork. With its clean lines and commanding presence, Ptolomeo Art is ideal for design-conscious collectors, artists, or anyone seeking to showcase their most treasured volumes in a refined, space-efficient manner.
