The Pelleossa Chair, designed by Rudy Vernier for Midj, is a refined expression of contemporary Italian design in which structure and upholstery come together as a single, beautifully resolved form.

The name Pelleossa reflects the concept behind the chair: pelle, or “skin,” represents the leather upholstery, while ossa, or “bones,” refers to the metal and wood structure beneath it. The seat and backrest are crafted from multilayer wood and wrapped in either TK hide leather or premium Tuscan hide leather, with a single perimeter stitch emphasizing the chair’s clean, tailored construction.

Slender tubular metal legs give Pelleossa a light, architectural appearance while the shaped seat and back provide comfort and ergonomic support. The leather fits closely around the structure, creating smooth, uninterrupted surfaces that highlight both the quality of the material and the simplicity of the design.
