Loft Lounge Chair by Tonon

The Loft Lounge Chair by Tonon was designed by Austrian designer Markus Kerker, whose approach emphasizes the individual character of a piece and meticulous attention to detail. With its high, enveloping back, curved upholstered shell, and generously shaped seat, Loft offers a sculptural interpretation of the modern Italian lounge chair. The design is intended for extended moments of reading and relaxation rather than upright dining.

Its injected-foam shell surrounds an internal support structure, creating a softer profile over a slender metal pedestal. The chair's swivel base allows easy repositioning within a seating group, while the matte lacquered steel provides a restrained contrast to the upholstery. In a contemporary living room, hotel lounge, or reception area, Loft can stand alone as a statement chair or be paired with the coordinating ottoman for a complete seating arrangement.
