The Italia IT5 Steel Executive Chair by Luxy brings architectural elegance and inviting comfort to contemporary workspaces. Designed by Favaretto & Partners, the IT5 pairs a tall, sculpted upholstered backrest with the Italia collection's distinctive exposed steel rod structure. The slender metal framework traces the back of the chair, creating a striking contrast with the softly upholstered seat and backrest. Its elegant four-star base gives the chair a lighter, more composed profile than a conventional executive desk chair, making it particularly well suited to executive offices, conference rooms, and sophisticated home workspaces.
The Italia IT5 offers supportive, generously cushioned seating with a weight-sensitive synchronized mechanism that responds to the user's movement. Its high backrest provides comfortable support, while the four-star die-cast aluminum swivel base rests on protective floor glides rather than casters. The visible steel framework and aluminum base are available in chrome or painted finishes, allowing the chair to take on a restrained, monochromatic appearance or a more expressive contemporary look. A wide selection of premium fabric and leather upholstery completes the design.
