The Guelfo Fur Ottoman by Opinion Ciatti, designed by Lapo Ciatti in 2015, is a contemporary reinterpretation of the classic 18th-century ottoman for their Guelfo Fur Armchair. Drawing inspiration from medieval Florence, its name pays homage to the Guelfs, one of the city's historic factions. This piece masterfully blends traditional elements resulting in a design that is both timeless and avant-garde.

In 2018, the collection expanded to include the Guelfo Fur, featuring a soft white or black faux fur upholstery, adding a playful and luxurious touch to the line. Whether in its classic leather finish or the whimsical faux fur variant, the Guelfo Fur Ottoman stands out as a statement piece that combines historical references with modern design sensibilities.
