The Gebruder Thonet Stocksessel is a historical re-edition with all the charm of past times. The Stocksessel can be a walking stick or folding stool made from bent beech wood with a woven cane seat connecting the three curved legs. The swan’s neck handle also provides a backrest.
Legend has it that the empress Elizabeth of Austria purchased one of these on the famous Strauchgasse, the historical shopping street in Vienna, and it never left her side once throughout her travels around Europe. And today Princess Sissi’s favorite walking stick is available in several new colors. A must have for any bentwood enthusiast!
