Gazelle Dining Table by Driade

The Gazelle Table by Driade is a dining table that plays on an apparent imbalance, supporting a strong top with a sequence of two structures placed in a totally unpredictable way.  Built as parallelepipeds and fixed either perpendicularly or parallel to the surface, the two base frames are configured rather like a “vacuum” that seems to let the top rise into the air.  

The painted tubular steel frame holds a top constructed with a laminate or a technologically advanced mix of clay, polymers, resins, and cement to give a very high design presentation.
