Eileen Gray Bibendum Chair

The Eileen Gray Bibendum Chair was named by Gray herself when she saw the Michelin Tire company's iconic caricature. The Bibendum Chair joins the Adjustable Height Table as one of her most widely recognized designs. The Bibendum Chair has been attributed to the work Eileen Gray did in Paris for Suzanne Talbot's Rue de Lota project. The Eileen Gray Bibendum Chair is one of several designs that typify Gray's opulent take on the stark modernist aesthetic. Until her death, Eileen Gray was largely unrecognized, but she is now regarded as one of the most influential designers and architects of the 20th century.

The Bibendum is a large and comfortable lounge chair. Extreme attention has been paid to stitching and foam cutting to ensure the Bibendum chair maintains a clean appearance and will retain its beauty for years. The unique base has been finished with a high degree of precision and a triple chrome finish.
