Costes Fully Upholstered Chair by Driade

The Costes Chair by Driade has become a contemporary classic.  It marked the first time that the designer Philippe Starck and Driade collaborated.  The unique three-legged structure and rounded back have made the Costes Chair a timeless piece that has been used in restaurants and homes around the world. 

The Costes Chair was designed by Philippe Starck and was launched in 1984.  Recognized as one of the world's most influential designers, this highly prolific French designer has over 10,000 designs to his name.  From chairs to buildings, and motorcycles to clothing, Starck remains one of the world's most creative minds.

Materials: Tubular frame in fine stain satin steel painted in titanium color using nanotechnological products based on metal alloys and ceramics.  Shell in curved plywood padded with polyurethane foam rubber.  Cushion cover and back in fixed leather.
