Coates Bodystuhl Bentwood Chair (Upholstered Seat) by GTV

The Bodystuhl Bentwood Chair by GTV was designed in 2015 by Nigel Coates.  Thanks to the striking effect of the steam-bent beechwood, the Bodystuhl Bentwood Chair shows a profile showing sinuous shapes characterized by a structure with variable thickness. The large seat and the ergonomic backrest, made in woven cane, recall shapes and materials of Lehnstuhl, previously designed by Coates for Wiener GTV Design.

Materials: Bentwood lounge chair.  Solid beechwood frame lacquered black or white. Upholstered seat with woven cane back.
