The Clop Lounge Chair by Luxy challenges conventional seating with a sculptural, crescent-shaped form designed to encourage movement, relaxation, and creative thinking. Created by the Italian design studio Il Prisma, Clop features a flowing upholstered seat with distinctive upturned ends that invite different ways of sitting, lounging, or leaning. Its slender four-leg steel base makes the striking curved form appear to float above the floor. Equally at home in a contemporary living room, creative workplace, reception area, or hospitality lounge, Clop adds a playful yet sophisticated architectural presence to its surroundings.
Clop's upholstered seating and armrest surfaces are crafted from resilient, cold-molded, flame-retardant polyurethane foam supported by a steel framework and die-cast aluminum structural hinges. The chair's shape accommodates a variety of seating postures, and its generous open width creates an inviting place to stretch out. Choose between the CP1 version with a painted steel structure and the CP2 version with a galvanic-finished metal structure. Both are available in an extensive selection of fabric and leather upholstery options. Clop received the German Design Award 2025 Gold for its inventive approach to contemporary seating.
