Charlotte Wicker Armchair by Horm

Designed by Mario Botta, the Charlotte Wicker Armchair by Horm turns a simple cylindrical form into an enveloping lounge chair. Its continuous curved back and arms surround a woven seat, while the opening at the front gives the design a clear architectural character. The rounded silhouette makes Charlotte a distinctive occasional chair for a living room, reading corner or bedroom.

Natural wicker is woven by hand over a white painted metal frame, bringing a finely textured surface to the chair's geometric form. The open weave allows light through the structure and reveals the care of the handwork. Left unpainted, the wicker retains its natural color and subtle variations, giving each chair an individual appearance.

Natural wicker may show grey or beige streaks; these are characteristics of the material rather than defects.

Outdoor use: Suitable only for protected outdoor areas. Keep away from rain, fog, dew and persistent humidity, and bring into an enclosed area overnight. Natural materials can deteriorate with outdoor exposure.
