Le Corbusier Chaise Lounge (LC4)

The Le Corbusier Chaise Lounge (LC4) is the best known and most successful of his designs that first exhibited at the Salon D' Automne in 1929. The Le Corbusier Chaise Lounge or "Longue" (LC4) was designed in 1928 for the furnishing of a villa in the Ville d' Avray, and utilizes exposed structural elements with padded leather cushion and headrest.

The LC4 Chaise Lounge has an infinite number of seating positions as top frame is not attached to the base.  Therefore a comfortable seating position for reading may be attained, or lower the chaise for nap the way Le Corbusier enjoyed.
