Mario Bellini

(1935– )
Mario Bellini has been one of Italy’s most influential designers. As an architect, industrial designer, and furniture designer, he is well known for his cab chair design. He was a strong figure in the flood of Italian design in the international market between 1955 and 1965. He has designed for many furniture companies including Cassina, B&B Italia, and Vitra. He has also designed such industrial devices as computer terminals and calculators.
