The Rondo bentwood chair was originally called the Number 81 bentwood chair. It was designed between 1906 and 1907 by an unknown Austrian architect. For the time it was an avant garde design. The minimal frame is a perfect solution for this three legged chair. It provides two beautiful arches and stability at the same time.
The Michael Thonet designed Rondo TP Bentwood Chair is offered with a fabric seat as opposed to the Rondo CU version that is offered hide leather. As a lounge chair, visitor chair, reception chair or living room chair, the Rondo Bentwood Chair makes a bold timeless statement about classic design. From any angle the Rondo Betnwood Chair delights the senses. Its bentwood frame is available in 4 different wood finishes, or 10 different lacquered finishes
