The Thonet A18/14 CU Bentwood Chair is one of the first examples of the industrialization of furniture manufaturing.  Using Michael Thonet's steam bending technique, these chairs marked a revolution in design as well as mass production.

The Thonet A18/14 CU is made in the original Thonet factory using original jigs.  The workmanship by the Thonet factory is legendary.  This particular chair can be specified with your choice of several different wood finishes, lacquered finishes, and leather hide for the seat.
