Tangled Cabinet by Spectrum Design

The Tangled Cabinet, designed by Carolina Wilcke in 2015, takes inspiration from steel window frames commonly found in industrial buildings. Through her experimentation with steel profiles and constructions, Wilcke created two interlocked volumes that form a cohesive whole. Her background in both design and goldsmithing is evident in the intricate details and graphic lines of her work. The Tangled series for Spectrum includes this cabinet, along with a coffee table, display case, and side table.

The slender frame of the Tangled sideboard consists of two volumes of matte black epoxy-coated steel profiles. There are glass tops on four levels in the frame, clear glass or smoked glass can be selected. With its slender shape and industrial appearance, the Tangled cabinet is a real eye-catcher in the room, without being predominantly present.
