Each has a different profile and a different pattern cut into its ebony face. Gray or black painted aluminum panels connect the compartments, framing open spaces between them and giving the long, low cabinet an asymmetrical front.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFor the folded forms, Horm bonds ebony veneer to fabric to make a 2.2 mm sheet it calls Origami Wood. Laser-cut lines allow the sheet to fold at the corners, while the perforations let light through the wood. Each compartment opens independently and has a magnetic door closure.
