The Michael Thonet Bentwood Piano Stool design comes from the original K4 design seen in the Gebruder Thonet catalogue from the late 1800s and early 1900s. Several variations of this dressing stool, or piano stool, were available.
The Bentwood Piano Stool is height adjustable from a seat height of 17 3/4" up to 25 3/4" making it usable near almost any piano. This bentwood stool comes from an original factory located in Eastern Europe. Original machinery and jigs are used to complete the process of creating these magnificent modern classics.
Bauhaus 2 Your House is proud to offer this bentwood furniture as manufactured using historical techniques. Few changes have been necessary over the last 152 years. The factories still follow the 19th century bentwood furniture production methods developed by Michael Thonet to produce stylistically accurate, handsome, and sturdy bentwood chairs, stools, tables, and accessories.
