Marcel Breuer designed this Cesca Table in 1928. It was added to the Standard-Mobel/Thonet catalogue with the code B14. The Cesca Table was used quite frequently in Breuer's projects, including Boroschek's Apartment, as well as Harnischmacher's house. In these cases it can be seen how mass production required some simplifications, such as the joint of the corner. The Cesca Table was distributed in Switzerland and appeared together with "Cesca" chairs in many showroom displays. This re-edition of Breuer's Cesca Table is the only one currently in production.
