Although the house was not built during Mackintosh’s lifetime, the drawings later became the basis for the House for an Art Lover in Bellahouston Park, Glasgow, completed in the 1990s.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn 1995, Bruce Hamilton Furniture Makers were commissioned to create the dining room furniture for the project. The Art Lovers chairs offered today are handmade in Glasgow using the same jigs and templates developed for that original commission.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eMade in European oak, the chair features Mackintosh’s distinctive high back, hand-cut stencil artwork on the head rail and back slat, and a hand-woven seagrass seat.
