Michael Thonet A16 Bentwood Chair (Upholstered)

Michael Thonet A16 Bentwood Chair (Upholstered)

The A16 bentwood chair was designed in the latter half of the 1800s by one of Michael Thonet's sons, August Thonet. August Thonet was responsible for many commercial successes in this famous bentwood furniture line in the late 1800s into the early 1900s.

This version of the A16 bentwood chair has an upholstered seat in your choice of fabric or leather.  The bentwood chair may be further customized with one of the classic or contemporary stains or lacquers for the bentwood frame.

The A16 bentwood chair is light, but sturdy, elegant, but simple.  Today the A16 bentwood chair is widely used in cafes, restaurants, offices and homes.
