Michael Thonet Designed B 6659 Bentwood Armchair

The Michael Thonet designed B6659 Bentwood Armchair is the armchair version of the popular A6658. This Bentwood Armchair uses a classic styled swirling arm, hand-woven cane seat, and elegant frame finished in black or walnut.

The Michael Thonet-style bentwood chair continues to be widely used for a variety of seating applications. Though it is commonly associated with restaurant or cafe seating, it works well in residential seating applications as well. Bauhaus2YourHouse sells the B6659 made by hand at the original factories utilized by Michael Thonet. Skilled craftsmen mold wood parts by hand using original jigs created by the master furniture builder Michael Thonet.
