Eero Saarinen Table - 54" Round Dining Table

The 54" Saarinen Dining Table is the perfect size for accommodating 4-6 people. Our Saarinen Tables are finished with two coats of sealant and two coats of wax to ensure a durable and non-toxic finish. (Be aware that Knoll still produces tables with a toxic polyester sheet as a sealer on their tables. This creates a hazard if the table is being targeted for use as a dining table. Furthermore, after several years, the polyester sheet may yellow and or crack, and open the surface up for potentially damaging contaminants.)

Eero Saarinen designed this table as part of a larger series of furniture commonly referred to as the Tulip or Pedestal series. It includes coffee tables, dining tables, a stool, chairs, and even an ashtray. Despite the fact that it was designed over 50 years ago, the Saarinen Table remains one of the most popular items in our line.

This 54" diameter pedestal table has a lacquered cast aluminum base in white or black and stands 28 1/4" in height. The base is treated with a clear protective finish to resist scratches, stains and scuffs. Marble tops are protected with a wax finish. The table is available in several different marbles or laminates.
