The Marcel Breuer S43 Cabinet was designed in 1924. This Bauhaus cabinet represents one of the famed designers earliest works as he completed it when he was merely 22 years old.
Along with Mies van der Rohe, Le Corbusier, and others, Marcel Breuer is considered to be one of the fathers of Modernism. As a student and a teachers at the Bauhaus-Dessau art school, Breuer focused on the integration of technology, materials and art. During his career he was an architect, teacher and furniture designer. Marcel Breuer is famous for number of commercially successful furniture designs that are still in production to this day. The Wassily Chair, Laccio Table, and Cesca Chair are among his most enduring designs.

Made in Germany by Tecta. A licensed reproduction of Bauhaus Designs by Tecta are approved by the Bauhaus Archive in Berlin and carry the Signet "Original Bauhaus Modell" designed by Oskar Schlemmer at The Bauhaus Weimar in 1922.
