Several of these Noguchi Freeform Sofas in different sizes and shapes were made by Isamu Noguchi between 1946 and 1948. Although Herman Miller Inc. worked on the prototypes, and considered producing this model, it was never put in to production. It was probably considered too avant gard for commercial success at the time.
The Isamu Noguchi Freeform Sofa is available in a variety of colors. The fabric is a removable expanded velvet material. Made In Italy.
