The Stefan Wewerka Three Legged Armchair was designed in 1979 from two chairs. It was developed for "multidimensional use." Stefan Wewerka is a German architect and furniture designer. Born in 1928, Wewerka studied architecture in Berlin after the Second World War. In 1979, he began collaborating with the German company TECTA, on furniture design. His primary works have been unique chairs in which the visual arts and design connect in unique ways. Stefan Wewerka currently lives in Cologne and Berlin.
