The M1 Table was designed by Stefan Wewerka in 1979. Stefan Wewerka is a German architect and furniture designer. Born in 1928, Wewerka studied architecture in Berlin after the Second World War. In 1979, he began collaborating with the German company TECTA, on furniture design. His primary works have been unique chairs in which the visual arts and design connect in unique ways. Stefan Wewerka currently lives in Cologne and Berlin.
