The Sapiens Bookcase by Sintesi is a contemporary space saving idea.  Instead of committing to an overextention of lateral space, why not just use a limited vertical space, and make it elegant?  That's the concept behind the Sapiens.  Utilizing a tower instead of a conventional wall unit, the Sapiens Bookcase is still able to hold up to 70 books.  Constructed of a steel tube column, steel sheet shelves, and a steel sheet or glass base, the Sapiens Bookcase is highly functional while making a contemporary statement.
