The Elfo Chair by Marcello Ziliani has become one of Gruppo Sintesi's most famous designs.  The original design came in 2005 from this highly creative architect.  The Elfo Chair uses soft polyurethane for its shell, creating a comfortable, yet non-changing form.    The Elfo Chair can be configured with either a tulip base (known as the F Chair), or with a spider base (four leg configuration.

Ziliani has won numerous awards including top chair awards in design competitions.  Born in Brescia, Italy in 1963, he still maintains his studio in this northern town.
