Eero Saarinen has been referred to as one of the masters of 20th century architecture. Some of his most famous projects include the Trans World Airlines Terminal at New York's JFK Airport, the Jefferson National Expansion Memorial in St. Louis, and the General Motors Technical Center. Many of his designs were done in partnership with his father, Eliel, and other designers such as Florence Knoll and Charles Eames.

While the entire Saarinen table is manufactured in Italy, the stone comes from various European sources, including Pisa, Switzerland, Greece and Spain. This 35 3/4" diameter marble side pedestal table has a lacquered cast aluminum base in white or black and stands 15 3/4" in height. Both the base and tabletop are treated with a clear protective finish to resist scratches, stains and scuffs.
