The 22" oval Saarinen Table is one stylish side table. With its unique oval shape, it sits nicely between large lounge chairs or at the end of a sofa.

The idea of the Tulip-base Table came to Eero Saarinen after his long association with Florence Knoll.  The Saarinen Table was part of a larger offering of a family of furniture commonly referred to as the pedestal or tulip collection. (Other parts of the collection include side chairs, armchairs, a stool and of course, the tables.) Although once only available to the trade or through designers and architects, the Saarinen pedestal collection has remained popular since its inception in 1956.

Our Saarinen tables are produced in Pisa, Italy, and the work of craftsmen who have been producing these tables for many years. Special attention in paid to every detail of size, geometry and finish. High quality marbles are hand chosen at the quarries in and around Pisa. Other stones are sourced from providers in Spain, Greece, and Switzerland. 

Materials: Tulip table with white or black lacquered cast aluminum base and choice of marble, granite, wood or laminate top.  Base available in glossy or matte finish.
