Mario Bellini designed the "Cab" chair in 1976 utilizing a skeletal steel frame that was enameled and covered with leather upholstery that features saddle stitching which epitomized the high-end Italian leatherwork of the 1970s. Mario Bellini also designed the "Break" chair utilizing the same removable Italian hide leather covering, further reinforcing his desire to showcase the Italian skill in leatherwork.
